A troubleshooting bench for App Store rejections
AppReviewDebug is for people who can already ship an app and do not want to hand the repo to a stranger. The missing piece is usually judgment: why this rejection landed on this binary, and what to do this week.
We do not generate a cheerful email and call it done. We do not take your source and “fix it.” The site is a knowledge base with a diagnosis layer: wording, causes, checklists, and a next action on every page.
Cases marked illustrative are structured examples, not trophies. When a documented case replaces one, the label comes off.
§ 01
Debug
Treat the rejection like a failing test. Reproduce the reviewer’s path, then name the likely cause.
§ 02
Root cause
“Apple thinks you are similar” is a symptom. Leftover schemes, a template shell, or a dead demo account is a cause.
§ 03
Next action
Reply, metadata, new build, or appeal. If a page cannot pick one, it is not finished.
